A local Hobokener, Mindy Bandler, founded Hound Around in 2004. In an effort to not become an accountant like most of her family, Mindy tried her wings as a pilot. She soon found that there was a lack of quality dog walkers in Hoboken and the future of the aviation industry grew grim. Mindy was inspired by the opportunity to provide superior pet care and better business acumen to the dog walking industry. She began by visiting the pets in her immediate area. One dog led to another and the rest is Hound Around history.
